About the role

  • Senior Financial Analyst conducting investment analysis for enterprise initiatives. Responsible for preparing investment analyses, benefit realization plans, and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with reviewing business cases and cost and benefit estimates
  • Partner with project team to construct financial models based on project business cases, including NPV, IRR etc.
  • Assist with maintaining enterprise tools for estimating project costs and benefits
  • Prepare monthly executive reporting related to optimizing project portfolio and return on investment.
  • Help with enterprise adoption of new financial concepts for tracking total project spend including internal and external cost
  • Assist with conducting individual and comparative investment analysis on highly complex and large scale projects
  • Serve as a trusted financial business partner to the PM community to help bridge the gap between operational and financial processes enabling project teams to achieve their financial objectives
  • Assist with the design, development, and delivery of Global Project Portfolio Management (GPPM) financial process training for the enterprise
  • Work closely with Project Managers to assist with preparing monthly project budget/forecast and tracking actual project costs

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of financial models and tools
  • Proficient in process improvement and development practices
  • Working knowledge of Corporate Finance, Accounting, and Project Costing
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to work well with others, and collaborate with other leaders in the organization
  • Problem solving, multi-tasking and decision making abilities; detail oriented
  • Skilled at producing executive-level reports and/or training material using Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent related work experience required
  • 5+ years' experience in Finance and/or Accounting
  • Advanced knowledge of financial models and tools such as ROI, NPV, IRR, Benefit Cost Ratio, etc. required
