About the role
- Senior Platform Engineer at GEICO responsible for supporting data ecosystem with Azure infrastructure. Leading projects and partnering with infrastructure and security teams for vulnerability management.
Responsibilities
- The team is responsible for building, maintaining, and providing support for the data ecosystem, which includes, but not limited to, Azure infrastructure provisioning, development, platform code development, application services/support, site reliability engineering.
- You will partner closely with infrastructure, platform, and security operations teams to mitigate potential exposure risks to GEICO, and actively mentor team members.
- The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading projects.
Requirements
- 1+ Year of experience utilizing Ansible/AWS scheduler to schedule and auto implement vulnerabilities resolution process.
- 4-5 years of experience supporting complex business applications in a large enterprise environment.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments & its offerings (PaaS, SaaS or IaaS) to design, build, implement and document enterprise solutions.
- Proven experience in supporting Python and/or Bash development lifecycle for enterprise level applications in an Agile environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology or related field.
