About the role
- Performing tasks in the design lifecycle of a circuit card assembly
- Responsible for architecting moderately complex avionic computer hardware systems that include both digital and analog components
- Perform design, simulation and verification of circuit card assemblies and manage the requirements with applicable tools
- Prepare necessary documentation for product development and certifications
- Testing and integration of circuit card assemblies installed in chassis
- Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy
- Good understanding of team integration and contributions to business
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electric Engineering, or equivalent, from an accredited university or college
- High school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent (desired)
- Knowledge of board level digital design process from schematic capture, implementation, integration, and verification
- Strong professional technical writing and technical communication proficiency
- Ability to break down complex problems and apply critical thinking
- Familiarity with the Mentor Graphics Expedition Enterprise and Hyperlinx PI/SI
- Familiarity with OrCAD PSPICE or LT Spice, Mathcad, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio
- U.S. Citizenship required for this role due to access to U.S. export-controlled information
