Responsibilities
Performing tasks in the design lifecycle of a circuit card assembly
Responsible for architecting moderately complex avionic computer hardware systems that include both digital and analog components
Perform design, simulation and verification of circuit card assemblies and manage the requirements with applicable tools
Prepare necessary documentation for product development and certifications
Testing and integration of circuit card assemblies installed in chassis
Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy
Good understanding of team integration and contributions to business
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electric Engineering, or equivalent, from an accredited university or college
High school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent (desired)
Knowledge of board level digital design process from schematic capture, implementation, integration, and verification
Strong professional technical writing and technical communication proficiency
Ability to break down complex problems and apply critical thinking
Familiarity with the Mentor Graphics Expedition Enterprise and Hyperlinx PI/SI
Familiarity with OrCAD PSPICE or LT Spice, Mathcad, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio
U.S. Citizenship required for this role due to access to U.S. export-controlled information
