About the role
- Information Systems Security Officer ensuring operational security for information systems. Collaborating with ISSM and ISO while managing security operations and compliance.
Responsibilities
- responsible for ensuring the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for an information system
- works in close collaboration with the ISSM and ISO
- manage the security aspects of an information system
- responsible for the day-to-day security operations of a system
- includes physical and environmental protection, personnel security, incident handling, and security training and awareness
- work in close coordination with the ISSM and ISO in monitoring the information system(s)
- develop and update the authorization documentation
- implement configuration management across authorization boundaries
- assess the security impact of those changes and make recommendation to the ISSM
Requirements
- 5 + years of related experience
- US Citizenship Required: Yes
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience (4 years)
- IAT Level II ( Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc) or IAM Level II
- 2+ years SAP experience required
- Prior performance in roles such as System, Network Administrator or ISSO
