- Drive the continuous optimization, performance, and cost-improvement of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to ensure system stability and reliability
- Maintain and enhance the efficiency of software delivery pipelines across the engineering organization
- Collaborate closely with the Security team on infrastructure-related projects to ensure compliance and safe practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Software Engineering roles
- Proven experience managing and supporting cloud infrastructure in an agile or product-driven environment
- Experience owning tasks related to infrastructure as code (IaC) and supporting continuous delivery pipelines
- Track record of building tools or processes to assist cross-functional development teams
- Strong experience managing infrastructure in the cloud (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
- Strong skills in Terraform, including writing and refactoring code into reusable modules and importing resources safely
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience implementing, managing, and troubleshooting Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) pipelines
- Practical experience using various monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to maintain system health
