Responsibilities
Optimization, expansion, monitoring, updating and maintenance of our internal IT systems and services, including server and cloud infrastructure
Planning and implementation of service setups using Ansible
Point of contact for provisioning, installation and troubleshooting of server and cloud services and other internal services for all teams (mail server, file server, Kubernetes, telephone system, JIRA, Confluence, OTRS, etc.)
Creating scripts (Python, Bash) to optimize, automate and extend services, applications and processes
Administration of desktop operating systems (Linux, Windows and macOS) and application installations via software deployment systems (Jamf, ninjaOne)
1st-, 2nd- and 3rd-level helpdesk support for our team members
Analyzing and addressing security risks (IT security)
Requirements
Completed degree in IT or computer science, or comparable vocational training (e.g., Fachinformatiker (m/f/d) — System Integration)
More than five years of professional experience as a system administrator with Linux operating systems (preferably Red Hat/CentOS/Rocky and Debian/Ubuntu)
Extensive knowledge of automation and orchestration using configuration management tools (preferably Ansible) and experience with monitoring tools (Checkmk, Nagios/Icinga, ELK Stack, etc.)
Solid scripting experience with Python and Bash
Experience operating 24/7 production environments and in developing and implementing strategies for highly available internal services
Fluent German and good command of English
