About the role

• SDET responsible for strengthening and scaling automated testing systems at FXC Intelligence. Collaborating in microservice and data-driven environments to ensure product reliability and robust insights.

Responsibilities

• Building, maintaining and improving automated testing frameworks (primarily in Python using Pytest) for the scraping platform
• Designing and executing test strategies that align with team goals and product requirements
• Maintaining documentation on test coverage and plans
• Collaborating with Developers, Data Engineers and Analysts to uphold quality standards across releases
• Contributing to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes and monitoring improvements
• The opportunity to get involved in the development of scrapers

Requirements

• You have 3+ years of commercial experience, including at least 6 months in QA automation or SDET roles
• You’ve worked on testing microservices, databases, data pipelines, or LLM solutions (not just UI or API automation)
• You’re comfortable coding in Python and using Pytest
• You’ve created testing approaches or led improvements in QA processes
• You have an understanding of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI
• These skills will help, but aren’t essential: Experience with Pandas, NumPy or machine learning concepts
• You’ve had hands-on experience with AWS (eg. Glue, Lambdas, S3)
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Exposure to monitoring tools like ELK or Prometheus
