About the role

  • Designer Editorial II developing high-quality editorial graphic projects for impactful educational materials in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • develop high-quality editorial graphic projects, ensuring visual consistency, creativity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • design covers and complete graphic projects (visual concept, editorial identity, grid, style, hierarchy)
  • commission and oversee graphic projects from external vendors
  • manage proofing workflow for covers and graphic projects
  • select and coordinate illustrators for covers
  • ensure overall design quality
  • advanced technical proficiency
  • actively participate in strategic decisions and visual positioning

Requirements

  • Experience in the educational publishing market for textbooks, working as a graphic/project designer (creating, commissioning, and overseeing projects)
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Editorial Design, or related fields
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Knowledge of layout and preparing files for print
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
