About the role

  • Civil & Environmental Engineer I designing and planning infrastructure projects for sustainable community solutions. Collaborating on water resource management and flood risk reduction in Georgia and Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with others to complete tasks by collecting and correlating information to assist in completing projects
  • Verify information and adjust data as needed
  • Coordinate project efforts with others contributing to the project
  • Design roadways, highways, water pipelines, water treatment facilities, dams, reservoirs, or levees
  • Guide clients’ stormwater and flood risk reduction programs utilizing modeling and design
  • Assist clients in planning for long-term water solutions and enhancing existing infrastructure

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Civil, Environmental, Water Resource, Biosystems, Biological & Agricultural, Structural, Geotechnical, Geological Engineering and similar programs
  • Preferred qualifications include internship experience and involvement in student organizations, especially leadership roles
