About the role

• Indirect Procurement Specialist responsible for Indirect Procurement in the Europe region at Fortive. Collaborating with internal customers and maintaining procurement tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Management of key processes including but not limited to Requisition to PO daily management (Oracle), iContract and iBuy (e-Procurement) maintenance, P&Q suppliers list maintenance, and management of new supplier adds / existing supplier records.
• Supporting the execution of Indirect savings projects as well as leading assigned savings projects in select commodities and ensuring accurate savings reporting.
• Undertaking key Procurement responsibilities for the Fleet Commodity, day to day activities working with leasing partners, and advising stakeholders throughout the Fleet lifecycle management process (e.g. vehicle ordering process, vehicle returns process, and policy implementation).
• The successful candidate will become the subject matter leader for all key indirect procurement rules, tools, and processes, and will support the wider organization with training and guidance as the need arises.
• Supporting the Commodity Manager with supplier communications and relationship management as required, as well as taking the lead with supplier relationships as needed.
• Supporting departmental objectives through effective management of payment terms through the Supplier Add process.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant Procurement / Supply Chain experience.
• Previous experience with e-procurement & P2P processes.
• Experience with Oracle ERP is desired.
• Ability to learn/understand internal customer requirements through interaction & observation and deliver Procurement solutions that fulfil expectations.
• Learns quickly when facing new situations. Experiments to find new solutions. Takes on the challenge of unfamiliar tasks. Extracts lessons learned from failures and mistakes.
• Consistent track record of strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English. Any other language skills are a bonus.
