About the role
- Senior Solution Consultant overseeing data migration projects and collaborating with clients at fme Romania. Engaging in data quality solutions and supporting clients in digital transformation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of data and content migration projects, data governance, and data quality solutions;
- Collaborate with clients and the fme delivery team on data-related initiatives to ensure project success;
- Review existing migration tools and recommend improvements to enhance performance;
- Develop and implement action plans to provide timely technical solutions for critical customer needs;
- Stay current with new testing tools and strategies;
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for content migration solutions, supporting multiple projects simultaneously;
- Lead migration projects, identify risks or issues early, and escalate them when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience with databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL;
- Hands-on experience in document/data migration with Enterprise Content Management Systems (e.g. SharePoint, OpenText Documentum, Box);
- Familiarity with data migration tools (ETL) and ability to execute complex migration processes;
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
- Experience working with validated systems, including producing quality documentation, installation procedures, and test cases;
- Ability to collaborate with customers and teams across different geographical locations;
- Self-driven mindset, with flexibility to adapt to fast-paced and ambiguous environments while remaining solution-focused.
- **Language:**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
- German is a plus.
