About the role
- Software Developer building high-quality frontend and mobile user experiences for Float's fintech platform. Responsibilities include collaborating with Product and Design teams and maintaining the mobile application.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain frontend systems using TypeScript and React.
- Contribute to and evolve Float’s design system, improving parity between design and implementation.
- Maintain and enhance the mobile application using React Native, ensuring reliability and release health.
- Own mobile build, testing, submission, and post-release monitoring workflows.
- Partner closely with Product and Design to deliver consistent, high-quality user experiences.
- Enable other engineers through shared components, patterns, and documentation.
- Raise frontend and mobile standards through clear ownership and technical judgment.
Requirements
- Experience with modern frontend development (TypeScript, React).
- Production exposure to React Native or native mobile platforms.
- Familiarity with mobile release workflows, testing, and monitoring.
- Interest in design systems and developer experience.
- Comfort owning foundational work and leading through influence.
- Bonus: experience building shared UI platforms or enabling teams at scale.
