Social Worker/Therapist for Family Care Network serving clients with mental health needs. Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide therapeutic interventions in the community.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client mental health, emotional well-being, and social functioning.
Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with clients to address their specific needs and goals.
Provide direct behavioral support, evidence-based interventions, and life skill development to support clients with achieving their goals.
Provide psychoeducation on mental health and substance use topics, such as symptom management, relapse prevention, and developing healthy coping skills.
Engage clients in meaningful activities and social interactions.
Provide training and support to families, caregivers, and other stakeholders on implementing behavior management strategies and techniques.
Engage clients in risk assessment and safety planning.
Participate in supervision to review cases, receive guidance, and collaborate on therapeutic interventions.
Requirements
Master's degree in social work, Psychology or related field required.
In process and/or proof of active intern registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences, as an Associate Clinical Social Worker or Associate Marriage Family Therapist.
Direct experience in a Behavioral Health or Social Services setting such as outpatient clinics, behavioral health facilities, and/or related community-based organizations.
Current active and unrestricted California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or Psychologist for Social Worker/Therapist IV.
Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of database and reporting tools.
Preferred Spanish Bilingual.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
