Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, high-performance back-end APIs and services using the .NET ecosystem.
- Serve as a technical reference for the team, supporting the Tech Lead in mentoring junior and mid-level developers, promoting engineering best practices and assisting with technical decisions.
- Ensure the quality, scalability, and maintainability of solutions by actively participating in code reviews and architecture discussions.
- Advocate for engineering best practices, helping to spread a culture of quality, automated testing, and technical excellence.
- Implement and oversee task development, help the team decide on the best technical approaches, document architectural decisions, and clearly communicate the trade-offs involved.
- Work closely with Product Managers (PMs) and other teams from discovery to delivery, assessing impacts and risks and proposing technical solutions to user problems.
- Implement and monitor application performance indicators, application health, and logs, acting proactively to identify and resolve issues.
- Contribute to defining technical roadmaps, proposing improvements, optimizations, and the adoption of new technologies that add business value.
Requirements
- Solid experience with the .NET ecosystem, including C#, ASP.NET Core, and related frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of software architecture for complex, scalable, and distributed web applications (e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture).
- Practical experience with cloud architecture (GCP or AWS), using core cloud services.
- Experience with container orchestration, especially Kubernetes.
- Experience with messaging systems (preferably RabbitMQ).
- Advanced knowledge of NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB) and relational databases, including modeling and optimization.
- Strong software quality culture, with proficiency in automated testing (unit, integration, etc.) and best practices.
- Clear communication skills to navigate between deep technical discussions, mentoring the team, and aligning with PMs and stakeholders.
