About the role
- Performance Test Engineer creating JMeter test scripts and analyzing system performance tests. Collaborating with development teams to resolve performance issues.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed test scripts and scenarios using JMeter.
- Execute load, stress, and scalability tests to evaluate system performance.
- Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Provide actionable recommendations for performance improvements.
- Work closely with developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and performance goals.
- Communicate test results and performance metrics effectively to the team.
- Perform root cause analysis for performance-related issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve identified issues.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in performance testing.
- Log any defects identified in line with established defect process.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of PT experience.
- Good communication skills
- Must have hands-on experience using JMeter with 3 to 4 years of experience
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to meet customer needs
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and/or techniques
- Good to have APM tools knowledge like New Relic or Dynatrace
- Documenting the performance results and communicate with clarity to end customers
