About the role

• Automotive engineer developing solutions for autonomous vehicles and electric mobility at Expleo. Transforming the future of mobility through innovation and technology.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to perform Dimensional Variation Analysis for complete vehicle / assigned objective and converge with cross functional and supplier to achieve the Gap and flush, Fitment, packaging clearance and Functional requirements.
• Gather Inputs (CAD, GD&T, Assembly process Gap and flush and Functional requirement and connect with the cross functional team to understand the requirements.
• Define the Stack up objective and analysis methods.
• Complete the Variation analysis in 3DCS / VSA tool and present report.
• Propose design / tolerance / datum process modification to achieve the required gap and flush / functional requirement and converge with cross functional team.
• Review and validate supplier studies and converge supplier meeting the gap and flush targets.
• Define Assembly process and tolerance that meets the engineering targets.
• Perform Root cause analysis for assembly builds and vehicle not meeting targets during launch / production.
• Analyze measurement data and simulate the possible occurrence virtually.
• Provide solution for the Build issues.
• Document lessons learnt and best practices.
• Provide process/design standardization.

Requirements

• BE
• ASME / ISO GD&T standard
• Should have hands on experience in Exterior, interior trim, Chassis parts
• Should have hands on experience on RSS stack up studies
• Should have hands on experience on 3DCS or Vis VSA tool
• Should have knowledge on Vehicle Assembly process
• Should have knowledge on statistical process control and measurement data analysis
• Should have experience on Nx or Catia CAD tool
• Should have experience on Teamcenter or PLM Application
• Should have knowledge on Gauge and fixtures concept design
• Should have knowledge on product development process
• Should have good communication skill
• Should have good presentation skill.
