About the role
- Test Automation Engineer managing testing activities within an interdisciplinary team. Ensuring high-quality software delivery by defining strategies and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
- Definition and implementation of test strategies, test plans, and test automation frameworks
- Leading and coordinating testing activities across projects and stakeholders
- Designing, executing, and analyzing test cases (manual and automated)
- Using XRay (Atlassian) for test management and reporting
- Collaborating with development, product, and operations teams to ensure quality at all stages
- Promoting improvements to testing processes and supporting agile testing initiatives
- Mentoring junior team members and conducting internal and external training
- Creating and maintaining test documentation
Requirements
- Fluent German (minimum C1)
- ISTQB Advanced Level certification (required for Test Manager)
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software testing (senior level)
- Practical experience with XRay (Atlassian) in test management
- Strong communication skills and experience in stakeholder management
- Preferable: experience with agile testing
- Preferable: experience in the public sector
- Preferable: French language skills (minimum B2 level)
