About the role

Responsibilities
- Design and model HVAC and piping systems for construction packages, including plans, schematics, and details.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design clashes and ensure seamless integration.
- Perform energy modeling using software such as eQuest and HAP.
- Conduct on-site data collection and reviews.
- Prepare labour and material cost estimates.
- Travel to project sites as required.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma from a recognized institution.
- Registration with as P.Tech or CET (or eligibility for immediate registration).
- 7+ years of experience in mechanical system design for building projects.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Building Codes and mechanical engineering practices.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows.
- Familiarity with controls systems (BMS, EMCS, BAS) is an asset.
