About the role
- Mechanical Engineer providing engineering expertise to Federal Government projects. Based onsite in Durban, South Africa with responsibilities in installations, modifications and maintenance of systems.
Responsibilities
- Provides expertise to Federal Government Community on mechanical engineering aspects of installations, modifications, operations, and maintenance
- Reviews contractor submittals against specifications and responds to contractor Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Develops independent cost estimates for the government and internal proposal purposes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in engineering from an accredited American university or Professional Engineering License
- 7+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry
- Must be able to obtain an Interim TS or Final TS security clearance before deployment
