About the role

  • Trainee in the Legal department at Evonik Industries AG, gaining insights and experience in various legal functions. Collaborating in national and international teams with opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Get to know the various tasks and activities of our Legal function as well as the workflows and processes of a legal department within an internationally operating corporation
  • Collaborate in national and international expert and project teams
  • Apply and further develop your technical, methodological and interpersonal skills in practice
  • Through assignments in different departments and at different locations, build your own network inside and outside the Legal function

Requirements

  • You have completed the First and Second State Law Examinations (Staatsexamen) with above‑average results
  • You have an interest in business-related issues and in taking on responsibility
  • You have already gained initial practical experience (for example through internships or during your legal clerkship/referendariat) at an internationally operating law firm or in an industrial company
  • Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken; ideally strengthened by a stay abroad. Willingness to be mobile
  • Your strengths include a solution-oriented approach, a strong sense of responsibility and commitment, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills
