About the role

Responsibilities

  • Independent client-side management of a wide range of new-build, conversion and modernization projects
  • Conceptual development of larger renovation and new-build projects
  • Coordination and management of external planners and contractors involved
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, such as fire protection, occupational safety, the German Building Energy Act (GEG), etc.
  • Conducting target‑vs‑actual analyses, economic feasibility calculations and monitoring of cost budgets
  • Safeguarding the client's interests with regard to schedules, costs and quality
  • Communication with authorities, expert assessors and other project stakeholders
  • Planning and coordination of smaller repair and maintenance measures
  • Central point of contact for internal project stakeholders

Requirements

  • Completed (technical) university degree in civil engineering (Architecture, Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering with a focus on construction)
  • Professional experience managing construction projects with a focus on building construction
  • Solid knowledge of building law, construction engineering and business administration, as well as familiarity with planning guidelines and regulations such as VOB, HOAI, LBO, etc.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivation and resilience
  • Confident appearance, good communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver's license (Class B)
