About the role

  • Senior Business Analyst at Euromonitor developing solutions for EMMA data systems integration. Collaborating with stakeholders and software engineers to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead stakeholder discussions to gather, analyse, and document business requirements, translating them into clear functional/non‑functional specifications with acceptance criteria and test cases.
  • Collaborate with designers, architects, and engineers to define the right solution, assess trade‑offs, recommend approaches, and coordinate UAT and releases.
  • Document and optimise end‑to‑end processes and user journeys using structured process‑mapping techniques.
  • Maintain clear, up‑to‑date documentation, deliver end‑user training and support, and lead communication across project teams and stakeholders.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, provide regular updates, manage expectations, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

  • Strong hands‑on experience with **APIs, web‑based applications, and system integrations**.
  • Solid understanding of **SQL, relational databases, and data modelling**.
  • Good grasp of **system design principles**.
  • **5+ years as a Business Analyst** in an Agile environment, with proven experience breaking down complex problems, shaping epics, and working closely with Product Managers to prioritise work based on business impact.
  • Proficiency in **business analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies**.
  • Ability to create **clear, high‑quality documentation and artefacts** that help teams and stakeholders understand requirements.
  • Proven ability to **manage multiple priorities**, handle ambiguity, and balance competing stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience working with **data engineering teams**, including defining logic in SQL stored procedures and supporting reporting in web‑based applications.
  • Hands‑on experience with **Azure DevOps**.
  • Bachelor’s degree in **Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics**, or a related field; **Master’s degree is a plus**.
