Responsibilities
- Energizing mix of banking, payments, and crypto regulatory advisory
- Direct involvement in product development and commercial negotiations
- Advice on new product design, readiness, and business models
- Develop cross-departmental relationships with product teams and technical experts
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales
- At least 5 years PQE leading on commercial negotiations
- Experience with fintechs or banks, in-house or private practice
- Strong knowledge of banking and payments regulation,
- Knowledge of emerging regulation around crypto and other novel forms of financial services
- Experience in structuring new regulated products and advising on regulatory impacts
- Ability to apply legal advice in practical business decisions and product design
- Good understanding of financial services business and operating models in the UK
