Responsibilities

  • Drive technical excellence in GIS across complex environmental and capital projects
  • Transform workflows through automation and custom tool development
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering insights that inform strategic decisions
  • Elevate ERM’s reputation by championing innovation and mentoring the next generation of GIS professionals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Sciences, Biology, or related field
  • 4+ years of GIS experience in environmental consulting
  • Advanced proficiency in Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise
  • Expertise in ArcPython, ArcGIS API for Python, and related libraries
  • Proven ability to design workflows, automate processes, and establish SOPs
  • Experience developing field survey tools (Survey123, Field Maps)
  • Strong geodatabase design, spatial analysis, and data visualization skills
  • Leadership experience with technical teams and client-facing projects
