About the role
- Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience developing backend services and APIs for a SaaS platform. Focusing on clean code and scalable systems using modern technologies like .NET and AWS.
Responsibilities
- You understand business requirements and develop epics and features that simplify the daily work of thousands of users
- Design, develop, and operate backend services and APIs with .NET, C#, and Go
- Extend or adapt frontend modules when needed
- Build scalable, secure systems on AWS — cloud-native by design
- Optimize MS-SQL and PostgreSQL: schema design, query tuning, performance
- Actively use AI tools like Copilot, Cursor, and Claude to develop faster and better
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code; follow engineering best practices
- Participate in architecture and code reviews, share knowledge, and shape standards
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product management, and design to prioritize features and align expectations
- Ensure the product meets high quality standards — both technically and functionally
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 5 years of hands-on development experience, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Strong in C# and TypeScript (or willingness to ramp up quickly)
- Experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Basic frontend knowledge (HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS); Angular experience is a plus
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, networking, and software architecture
- Passion for clean, maintainable code and robust systems
- Strong self-organization and a high commitment to meeting your own deadlines
- Willingness to mentor and support junior team members
