About the role
- Technical analyst transforming legacy systems by extracting and validating data for Equiplano's ERP. Collaborating on data engineering processes and ensuring financial data integrity.
Responsibilities
- We are seeking a professional to serve as the primary technical liaison for extracting, processing and validating large volumes of data from legacy systems.
- The professional will be responsible for "translating" third-party databases into Equiplano's data model, ensuring the client's accounting, payroll and tax history are preserved accurately.
- Data Engineering & ETL: Extract data from different sources and formats (relational databases, .txt and .csv files, competitor backups) for import into Equiplano's ERP.
- Analysis & Cleansing: Identify inconsistencies, duplicates and errors in source data prior to migration.
- Mapping (From/To): Create correlation scripts and mappings between the source-system tables and the Equiplano system.
- Business Validation: Support the verification of migrated data (e.g., reconcile accounting balances, check employee histories) to ensure the integrity of public records.
- Automation: Develop scripts and routines (SQL/Python) to automate repetitive data-cleaning and conversion tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Database Management or related fields.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, joins, views and stored procedures).
- Proven experience working with databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server or Firebird).
- Preferred: Knowledge of programming logic or scripting languages (Python or C#).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Public Sector accounting and management rules (CASP - Accounting Applied to the Public Sector, PCASP, Payroll Event Table, Laws 8.666/14.133).
