Responsibilities

  • Apply sourcing skills to source potential substitute parts to avoid supply disruption.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and source parts at the best cost.
  • Ensure the accuracy of part pricing, inventory level, BOM information, and revision number of the engineering drawings.
  • Apply analytical skills in generating reports and presentations.
  • Manage supply chain systems and databases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Electronics and Communications, Industrial Engineering.
  • At least 2.5 years of relevant experience in procurement function in the manufacturing industry or supply chain role in the shared services industry.
  • Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical/electronic commodities
  • Knowledgeable in environmental legislation and similar (e.g., ROHS, REACH, etc.).
  • Fair degree of understanding in the field of supply chain.
  • Basic understanding of MRP, ERP, and SRM systems and tools, and multi-level BOMs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience in using Oracle or other similar applications for data entry.
