About the role

• Project Engineer for DCS engineering in Solar, BESS, and Microgrid Projects. Responsible for project life cycle from design to commissioning in renewable energy sectors.

Responsibilities

• This job involves DCS engineering for Solar, BESS and Microgrid Renewables Projects.
• You will be involved in collection of inputs, customer meetings, design concepts, engineering/implementation, process simulation & testing based upon customer requirements.
• You will be responsible for complete Project Life Cycle i.e. starting from input analysis, Design & Engineering, Testing & Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) followed by commissioning as per requirement.
• Execute DCS and SCADA based Solar/BESS/Microgrid greenfield and retrofit projects.
• Guiding team to implement controls from SAMA, functional diagrams or functional descriptions.
• Create/modification of DCS internal point database; extraction of HW IO list from customer drawings.
• Engage in various testing and fault finding.
• Solar/BESS/Microgrid plant commissioning for commercial operation; travel to project sites for site assignments.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Control & Instrumentation, Power Engineering)
• Three (3) to Eight (8) years of experience in DCS/PLC programming / Engineering / commissioning
• Ability to troubleshoot DCS/PLC control system
• Clear accountability and outcome-based responsibilities as per COE 2.0
• Relevant digital and AI capabilities
• Full-cycle ownership of tasks and processes
• Excellent language and communication skills; both verbal and written
• Ability to write reports & business communication
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to queries from groups of managers, clients, and customers
• Ability to interface with vendors & sub-contractors
• Should have good understanding of safety tools and gears, and safety guidelines of working at site
