About the role

  • Project Engineer assisting in construction project management at Gowan/Garrett, Inc. Coordinating tasks and collaborating with vendors in various construction phases.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager (PM) and Superintendent in coordinating and managing various aspects of construction projects
  • Communicate with vendors and schedule deliveries
  • Prepare and post RFIs, ASIs, and COs
  • Track submittals and maintain documentation
  • Develop ROMs estimates and assist with pricing
  • Perform QA / QC checks
  • Prepare JHAs and support safety planning
  • Facilitate Toolbox Talks
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in or project coordination preferred
  • Knowledge of construction processes and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Familiarity with construction management software preferred
