About the role

• SRE Analyst ensuring availability and security of payment systems at Elo. Collaborating on automating infrastructure and solving service issues in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Support squads in defining infrastructure
• Support, develop and implement solutions ensuring resilience, scalability, security, and availability of Elo's new services
• Eliminate toil by creating development automation and self-healing mechanisms for infrastructure and applications
• Manage hybrid environments, including AWS and Azure
• Resolve incidents impacting our services through automation to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate on defining system metrics and observability dashboards for infrastructure and services
• Collaborate on defining capacity tests for the infrastructure
• Responsible for managing production incidents and conducting post-mortems

Requirements

• Familiarity with agile methodologies within a DevOps culture
• "Automate everything" mindset
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Go
• Strong experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Strong experience in infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Solid experience creating reusable modules and providers in IaC tools such as Terraform, Crossplane, and Ansible
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems
• Self-management skills
• 2+ years of experience with cloud providers (AWS and Azure)
• Resilience to handle high-pressure situations
• Deep knowledge of TCP and HTTP protocols
• Strong knowledge of observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, Datadog, Loki, etc.)
• Strong experience in large-scale, mission-critical environments using open-source technologies
• Ownership mindset and strong collaboration skills are required
• Experience developing reliability indicators and dashboard models (SLI, SLO, and Error Budget)
