About the role
- Pre-Licensed Therapist providing mental health therapy services at Ellie Mental Health's Portsmouth clinic. Engaging patients and working collaboratively to achieve therapeutic goals in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Engage patients artfully from the first contact to gain their confidence and trust
- Complete biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical progress notes
- Use clinical judgment to uncover individual and relational factors contributing to patient care
- Provide transparent and detailed informed consent about expectations and fees
- Co-create relevant goals with patients stemming from identified problems
- Provide relationship-oriented and creative psychotherapy to help clients achieve their goals
- Measure and record progress as a function of the evolving therapeutic relationship
- Coordinate services/referrals and collaborate with families and other professionals
- Collaborate with local team members and provide all clinical documentation in Valant
- Participate in clinical staff meetings and required training
- Conduct a minimum of 25 client visits per week to be considered full-time
Requirements
- Completed a master's degree in mental health counseling or related field
- License eligible in the state of New Hampshire
- Open to working with both adolescents and adults
- Must value honesty, integrity, and strong work ethic
