About the role

  • Engage patients artfully from the first contact to gain their confidence and trust
  • Complete biopsychosocial/diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical progress notes
  • Use clinical judgment to uncover individual and relational factors contributing to patient care
  • Provide transparent and detailed informed consent about expectations and fees
  • Co-create relevant goals with patients stemming from identified problems
  • Provide relationship-oriented and creative psychotherapy to help clients achieve their goals
  • Measure and record progress as a function of the evolving therapeutic relationship
  • Coordinate services/referrals and collaborate with families and other professionals
  • Collaborate with local team members and provide all clinical documentation in Valant
  • Participate in clinical staff meetings and required training
  • Conduct a minimum of 25 client visits per week to be considered full-time

Requirements

  • Completed a master's degree in mental health counseling or related field
  • License eligible in the state of New Hampshire
  • Open to working with both adolescents and adults
  • Must value honesty, integrity, and strong work ethic
  • Act with personal responsibility, be patient, pleasant, curious, intelligent, and observant
