About the role
- Licensed Mental Health Therapist providing psychotherapy in Portsmouth, NH. Engaging clients through personalized care, assessments, and collaboration with a dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Engage patients from first contact to gain their trust
- Complete assessments, treatment plans, and clinical progress notes
- Provide informed consent about therapy expectations and fees
- Co-create relevant goals with patients based on identified problems
- Provide relationship-oriented psychotherapy to help clients achieve their goals
- Measure and record progress as part of evolving therapeutic relationship
- Coordinate services/referrals and collaborate with families, professionals, and community supports
- Collaborate with local team of psychotherapy superstars
- Provide clinical documentation in the Valant electronic health record system on a timely basis
- Participate in clinical staff meetings, administrative meetings, individual supervision, and required training
- Conduct a minimum of 25 client visits per week to be considered full-time
Requirements
- Licensed as an LCMHC, LICSW, or LMFT in New Hampshire
- Open to working with both adolescents and adults (younger children is a bonus!)
