About the role
- Legal Counsel supporting client-facing legal projects at Efficio, driving commercial law solutions and engaging with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements
- Provide legal support on commercial and project-related matters
- Assist internal teams with legal advice related to ongoing projects
- Support business development initiatives from a legal perspective
- Contribute to the implementation and use of Legal AI tools within the legal function
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners when required
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- 3–4 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Demonstrable experience in commercial law and project-based work
- Experience advising on public sector matters; eligibility to obtain UK security clearance (existing clearance advantageous)
- Familiarity with Legal AI tools and emerging legal technologies
- Experience in, or a strong interest in, business development and client relationship management
- Willingness to travel as required
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in additional languages would be advantageous
