About the role

  • Senior Full-Stack Developer focusing on n8n automations and system architecture at Education Partners. Responsible for workflows and system landscape improvement in a challenging tech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Technical responsibility for the architecture, development and operation of n8n-based workflows
  • Evolve an MVP-stage system landscape into a stable, high-performance and maintainable production environment
  • Analyze existing workflows and systems for scaling limits, stability and technical debt
  • Gradually professionalize operations, monitoring and deployment without sacrificing development velocity
  • Select, evaluate and integrate suitable tools and platforms for automation, deployment, monitoring and logging
  • Design and implement API integrations (including Stripe, HubSpot, Avendoo and internal systems) and establish testing (e.g. PACT) and monitoring
  • Establish monitoring, alerting and observability concepts (system health, workflow status, error tracking, performance)
  • Take ownership of deployment strategies, CI/CD pipelines and environment management (e.g., staging/production)
  • Actively contribute to shaping our target architecture and technical roadmap
  • Define and enforce code quality, security and operational standards
  • Work closely with Product Management, Design and BI to translate requirements into performant, maintainable solutions
  • Web development with Next.js and modern UI frameworks
  • Coach and provide technical support to junior developers

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience (at least 4–5 years) in full-stack development
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript, Next.js, TypeScript-based backend services and modern API architectures
  • Deep experience with n8n, process automation, API integrations and integrating AI models
  • Experience operating, monitoring and troubleshooting systems in production
  • A DevOps-oriented mindset with an understanding of system health, observability and sustainable operations
  • Ability to balance technical priorities between time-to-market and system stability sensibly
  • Experience in selecting and introducing technical tools and platforms
  • Quality-oriented, structured working style and ownership mentality
  • Very good German language skills (C1 or higher); English proficiency for tool and API documentation
