Responsibilities
- Lead and support the development of strategy for and the procurement of key components
- Capture business demands and handle competitive tendering
- Review vendor proposals, negotiate, and execute contracts
- Own and refine procurement guidance to the business
- Identify and ensure effective risk mitigation
- Build and maintain supplier relationships
- Perform other duties as assigned, including reporting
Requirements
- At least 7 years of procurement or relevant professional experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the renewable energy industry
- MBA/MS degree or 2 years of strategic procurement experience
- At least 2 years of contracting and negotiation experience
- Bachelor’s degree with preference for Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or Business Management
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required
- Preferred certifications are a plus: CPSM, MCIPS, CPM, PMP
