About the role
- Identity & Access Management Platform Engineer at E.ON Digital Technology shaping the energy transition with secure digital identities. Implementing identity services and automating processes in Azure environments.
Responsibilities
- Implement and operate identity services in hybrid environments, based on architectural guidance.
- Automate identity lifecycle processes using PowerShell and Python.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code deployments (Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps).
- Support integration of Conditional Access, authentication flows and cross-tenant synchronization in Azure AD (Entra ID).
- Monitor and optimize Azure infrastructure components such as virtual machines and networking.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners and operations teams to ensure secure and compliant identity operations.
- Conduct reviews and audits of identity configurations and access controls.
Requirements
- Agile mindset with experience in agile tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Structured, solution-oriented approach and strong communication skills
- Solid experience with Azure AD (Entra ID) and Active Directory including authentication flows, Conditional Access, forest design and Group Policy
- Understanding of identity security including hardening, credential protection and access control audits
- Experience with Intune for Windows device management and compliance
- Advanced PowerShell and Python skills for automation and integration
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Bicep)
- Good understanding of Azure infrastructure including virtual machines, networking and monitoring
