Responsibilities
In the WP3 area, extensive and far-reaching enhancements to our securities platform are being implemented.
Applications in our cross-cutting domain Backbone & Integration Services will be migrated to a future-proof, microservices-based technology stack in the medium to long term.
Join our cross-functional team based in Frankfurt or Düsseldorf and help us take end-to-end responsibility for our applications.
As an application developer in dwpbank's hybrid working model, you will be involved in the (further) development and maintenance of our applications and support the migration of applications to the new technical platform, i.e. to the AWS cloud.
You will work together in an agile team on the professional development of high-quality software components throughout the entire software lifecycle.
You will also provide advisory and solution-oriented support to the business units and our development colleagues at the subsidiary dwp Software Kft.
If required, you will also take on necessary on-call duties.
Requirements
You have several years of successful experience in application development.
You have good knowledge of some of the following technologies and methods: Java, the Spring ecosystem, interface technologies (REST, SOAP, Kafka), PostgreSQL or comparable databases, cloud technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), Angular.
You have extensive experience with various software development methodologies and are very familiar with (agile) project methods.
You speak fluent German (C1) and have good English skills (B2).
With your commitment and communication skills, you are able to communicate topics clearly and transparently and foster team cohesion.
Continuous learning and knowledge transfer within the team are natural to you.
