About the role

  • Solicitor managing personal injury matters with the Casualty team at DWF. Collaborating on diverse caseloads while working in a hybrid capacity from the London office.

Responsibilities

  • To handle a defendant personal injury caseload.
  • Help manage cases in accordance with departmental and client service standards and protocols.
  • Serve as a trusted and proactive team member, ensuring accurate and timely updates to the case management system, reviewing confidential records, and maintaining clear communication with clients.
  • Handle technical aspects of cases under the guidance of senior colleagues, contributing to the delivery of high-quality legal support.
  • Progress cases efficiently and effectively, aiming for timely resolutions that meet client expectations.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 PQE Solicitor
  • Experience assisting on and managing a defendant personal injury caseload, involving Employer Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL).
  • Experience in using case management systems such as Visual Files.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a high-volume workload.
  • A client-focused approach and a strong team player mentality.
