About the role

  • ASIC/FPGA Hardware Engineer at Draper designing and implementing cryptographic systems. Collaborating with engineers to develop secure hardware solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, specify, and ensure proper design & implementation of hardware-based security solutions
  • Develop architecture and specifications for ASIC or FPGA-based hardware designs
  • Translate requirements to front-end RTL designers and guide back-end implementation team
  • Work with systems-level designers to develop documentation, test plans, and software interfaces
  • Independently contribute to complex chip architectures and designs

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field
  • 0-3 years of experience with a master's degree, ASIC Hardware Engineering or related
  • Knowledge of cryptography systems and hardware security
  • Familiarity with asymmetric/public key cryptosystems such as ECC, RSA
  • Proficiency in digital hardware design and integrated circuit design
