About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage the SAP license inventory, including ensuring proper measurement, assignment of licenses, and orchestration of license purchase activities
- Advise SAP-using IT areas/products—especially on selecting the correct licensing model, optimizing license costs and inventory, and defining requirements for new SAP contracts
- Support the Service Manager in planning, administering, and allocating SAP maintenance fees to cost centers/drivers
- Operate and further develop the Software Asset Management (SAM) tool, and automate workflows and reports to increase efficiency
- Advise internal customers on Software Asset Management and assist with license inventories and audits
- Analyze license usage and identify cost savings and optimization opportunities across various IT applications
Requirements
- University degree or 2-year vocational college qualification, or equivalent qualification obtained by other means
- Practical experience with measurement using LAW, SAP licensing metrics, and contractual terms
- Solid knowledge of Software Asset Management processes, ideally with experience in implementing, operating, and enhancing SAM tools
- Ability to analyze license usage and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Experience automating workflows and reports, e.g., with Power Automate, scripting, or comparable tools
