Responsibilities
Experience the behind-the-scenes aspects of the business including Risk, Finance, and Commercial Operations teams.
Explore the back/mid-office areas of the company to gather invaluable experience and help discover interests and direction for future careers.
Gain practical skills and knowledge from day one, with feedback and coaching to help improve.
Work alongside new ideas and experiences within the department and wider company.
Understand daily tasks in cashiers and accounting, including payment of invoices, applications of customer receipts, reconciliations, banking, and control in Finance.
Participate in sales support and sales development functions, handling customer services and complaints in Commercial Operations.
Requirements
Applicants need to have the right to work in the UK.
Applications will preferably be working at a 2:1 level or above in Economics, Business, Finance or Banking, however we are open to applications below this grade or alternative degree subjects.
Must have a good understanding (including experience) of MS products, including Outlook, Teams, Excel etc.
Be keen to learn the day-to-day skills required to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Be able to learn the day-to-day processes which control daily routine tasks.
Once fully trained and confident in the task, be able to work on your own initiative, reaching out for guidance as required.
Be enthusiastic to get the job done.
Have an eye for detail ensuring accuracy (imperative in our industry)
