• Backend Developer developing mobile applications using .NET MAUI for global IT outsourcing firm with 3+ years experience in hybrid setup. Responsibilities include feature implementation and legacy application migration.

Responsibilities

• As a Backend Developer you will be developing and maintaining mobile applications for iOS and Android using .NET MAUI and C#, delivering high-performance and user-friendly solutions;
• You will be implementing new features and enhancements based on technical specifications and business requirements, ensuring timely and high-quality releases;
• You will be migrating legacy mobile applications to the .NET MAUI platform, optimizing performance, stability, and compatibility during the transition;
• You will be building and maintaining user interfaces in XAML and C#, following existing application designs and UI/UX standards;
• You will be adhering to MVVM architecture to ensure maintainable, modular, and testable code structures;
• You will be ensuring responsive behavior and consistent user experience across different devices and screen resolutions;
• You will be integrating backend services and APIs, managing data flows between mobile clients and cloud-based services;
• You will be managing and integrating third-party libraries and development tools through NuGet packages to extend functionality;
• You will be using Bitbucket for version control, participating in code reviews, and maintaining clean and organized repositories;
• You will be supporting manual builds and deployments, including the generation of IPA files for iOS application testing and distribution;
• You will be performing unit testing to validate the correctness of features, identify issues, and deliver stable releases;
• You will be collaborating with fellow developers, project stakeholders, and the cloud services team to address production issues and propose technical solutions;
• You will be providing ongoing support and maintenance for existing mobile applications, applying bug fixes, updates, and minor enhancements as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in mobile application development using .NET MAUI technologies, with proven success in shipping production-ready apps
• Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition
• Hands-on experience with Xamarin.Forms for cross-platform mobile development targeting both Android and iOS
• Solid understanding of mobile development principles, platform-specific limitations, and cross-platform architecture
• Proficient in creating user interfaces using XAML and C#, based on design specifications and interaction requirements
• Strong understanding of MVVM architecture and its effective application in .NET MAUI projects
• Experience managing dependencies and third-party libraries via NuGet, ensuring smooth package integration and versioning
• Familiarity with integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSON-based data to facilitate real-time and dynamic application behavior
• Experience using Bitbucket or similar version control systems, participating in collaborative and structured development workflows.
