About the role
- Responsible for implementing software for manufacturing equipment.
- Responsible for developing quality inspection and measurement devices, often using image processing.
- Responsible for testing and commissioning manufacturing equipment as well as for their initial installation and operation at the production site.
- Responsible for documenting development and test results in accordance with quality requirements.
- Responsible for supporting the production department in troubleshooting and fault resolution.
- Close collaboration with the OptoMech and Electronics hardware departments in the development of complex manufacturing equipment.
- This position may require travel to other sites.
Requirements
- University degree in Automation, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented software development.
- Knowledge of automation, robotics applications, and industrial interfaces is a plus.
- Experience in developing image processing applications is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and good time management.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new topics and tasks.
- Very good German and English language skills, especially in technical terminology.
