About the role
- Legal Counsel managing litigation funding opportunities and B2B disputes at Deminor in Rotterdam. Seeking a Dutch-qualified lawyer with experience in commercial law and dispute resolution.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess litigation funding opportunities, including in-depth legal and financial due diligence of commercial cases.
- Lead and coordinate funded Dutch B2B commercial disputes, managing case progress and working closely with external counsel, experts and Deminor’s internal team.
- Contribute to Deminor’s global collective securities litigation practice, involved in the selection, management and strategy of complex cross border investor cases.
- Help expand Deminor’s footprint in the Dutch market.
Requirements
- A Dutch-qualified lawyer with minimum 5/6 years of experience in litigation, commercial law or dispute resolution.
- At least 5/6 years of experience in the litigation practice of a Dutch law firm or in a corporate setting with litigation exposure.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Interested in cross border collective securities litigation and Dutch commercial litigation.
- Practical, analytical and commercially minded.
- Able to think strategically beyond pure legal analysis.
- Motivated to grow in a role where legal insight directly informs investment decisions and business outcomes.
