About the role

• Legal Counsel managing litigation funding opportunities and B2B disputes at Deminor in Rotterdam. Seeking a Dutch-qualified lawyer with experience in commercial law and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess litigation funding opportunities, including in-depth legal and financial due diligence of commercial cases.
• Lead and coordinate funded Dutch B2B commercial disputes, managing case progress and working closely with external counsel, experts and Deminor’s internal team.
• Contribute to Deminor’s global collective securities litigation practice, involved in the selection, management and strategy of complex cross border investor cases.
• Help expand Deminor’s footprint in the Dutch market.

Requirements

• A Dutch-qualified lawyer with minimum 5/6 years of experience in litigation, commercial law or dispute resolution.
• At least 5/6 years of experience in the litigation practice of a Dutch law firm or in a corporate setting with litigation exposure.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Interested in cross border collective securities litigation and Dutch commercial litigation.
• Practical, analytical and commercially minded.
• Able to think strategically beyond pure legal analysis.
• Motivated to grow in a role where legal insight directly informs investment decisions and business outcomes.
• Curious, proactive and willing to go the extra mile.
