About the role
- Mould Designer supporting design and manufacturing processes for plastic components. Collaborating with Mechanical Designers while focusing on quality DfM and tool design.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Mechanical Designers to provide design input and designing injection molding tools.
- Deliver tool design both to our suppliers and our own internal Tool-Shops.
- Contribute valuable insights to our part designers.
- Ensure quality DfM and tool design for plastic and stamped components
Requirements
- Experience with designing injection mould tools.
- Practical understanding of plastic part production and tool manufacturing
- Know-how of Design for Manufacturing for plastic and metal stamped parts
- Good CAD skills
- Good written and spoken English
