About the role
- BI developer responsible for design and implementation of data models for analytics and reporting. Collaborating with stakeholders to support business intelligence needs.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain reports in PowerBI.
- Design and implement data models to support analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with governance standards.
- Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
Requirements
- are proficient with Power BI and DAX for data visualization
- are proficient in Python, PySpark, and SQL
- have experience in implementing ETL processes
- have good understanding of data modeling principles and BI best practices
- It would be nice if you additionally also have:
- experience with unit testing in Python
- knowledge of cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
- exposure to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
- understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks
- familiarity with Databricks
