Responsibilities
Work on features and improvements across Deliverect's Restaurant and/or Retail products
Read, understand, and adapt existing codebases to meet product and customer requirements
Write clean, functional Python code as part of a real engineering team
Use the latest AI-assisted coding tools, including Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, as a natural part of your daily workflow
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers in agile sprints
Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and team ceremonies as a full contributor
Stay up to date with the latest developments in software engineering tooling and best practices
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an MBO or HBO programme in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
Available for a minimum of 3 months as an internship / stage placement
Ambitious, curious, and eager to learn, you thrive when things move fast and there's a lot to absorb
Python is the language you breathe, or you are fully committed to being submerged in it
Able to read and reason about code you didn't write
Comfortable using or excited to learn, AI coding agents like Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar tools
Familiarity with GIT, REST APIs, or cloud environments is a plus
Fluency in English is required, English is our internal working language across all teams, all communication, and all documentation, without exception.
