About the role
- Software Test Engineer working on software quality assurance and documentation at Delegate Technology. Collaborating with teams to enhance testing strategies and improve software documentation.
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to quality assurance of our software solutions
- Develop, analyze, and document software tests
- Create and maintain test cases, evaluate results, and document defect reports
- Support the creation of user-friendly product documentation
- Coordinate the biweekly build deliveries and general releases
Requirements
- Solid technical understanding of software environments and broad IT knowledge — ideally including .NET technologies, networking technologies, and test environments
- Experience with test automation and relevant tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
- Basic understanding of software architectures, preferably with a focus on testable and maintainable systems
- Structured, solution-oriented working style and decisiveness
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- High motivation and resilience, team spirit, and flexibility
