About the role
- Senior Systems Engineer providing IT support primarily across Microsoft technology stack for clients in New Zealand. Ensuring stability and availability of IT infrastructure while collaborating with team members.
Responsibilities
- Ensure consistency in delivery of service to our clients (as defined within SLAs)
- Maintain the documented architectural standards for clients
- Escalation point for client related queries, incidents, or problems
- Implementation of change requests
- QA’s daily / weekly / monthly checks and inputs to service reporting
- Ownership of client specific operational processes and standards
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Set and maintain operational standards for nominated technologies
- Liaise with vendors or Datacom Vendor relationship managers to ensure support and escalation procedures are in place
- Provide after-hours support on a roster basis
- Work together with other team members to achieve common objectives
Requirements
- at least a years' experience in a Level 3 / systems engineering role
- Microsoft MCSE certification or equivalent work experience
