About the role
- Responsible for the ongoing development of the infrastructure architecture
- Technical lead for projects and strategic initiatives in the Cloud & Platform domain
- Coordination and continuous improvement of Infrastructure Lifecycle Management (ILM)
- Represent the department on the company-wide Enterprise Architecture Board
- Responsible for Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCDR) concepts and their implementation
Requirements
- Background as a Systems or DevOps Engineer with proven progression to a Cloud/Infrastructure Architect in complex IT environments
- Solid expertise in Public Cloud (Microsoft Azure), Workplace & Collaboration (M365), Networking & Security, and Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Strong understanding of availability, security, and recovery requirements in cloud scenarios
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (business-fluent German; English at least B2)
- Ability to translate strategic architecture decisions into operationally implementable solutions and to mediate between architecture, operations, and project teams
